It is hard to imagine the world of rock music without the contributions of Ann and Nancy Wilson of Heart. While most female musicians and signers were relegated to pop or country roles, Heart pounded the mostly male dominated AOR airwaves with their own brand of hard rocking songs and soaring vocals that were the hallmark of their critically acclaimed career.
Dreamboat Annie – A Tribute To Heart is designed to pay tribute to the sounds and songs of a very unique and storied part of Rock & Roll history. Our power packed show includes over 2 hours of music performed by Heart and the Wilson sisters over their long career. While little can compare to Ann and Nancy Wilson and their band in their prime, our goal is to bring alive the essence and experience of Heart as it was during that time period.
From their early rock anthems of Barracuda and Crazy On You of the late 70’s, to the early 80’s with Even It Up and How Can I Refuse, to the MTV and rock radio late 80’s early 90’s of Never, These Dreams and Alone – even the Wilson sisters rendition of Stairway To Heaven as performed for Led Zeppelin during their Kennedy Center Honors, Dreamboat Annie – A Tribute To Heart will take you through these three decades of Heart and much, much more.
